through Science Technology and Innovation, 71st Philippine Association for the Advancement in Science and Technology (Phil AAST) National Convention held at the Millenium Salon of the Manila Hotel September 9 2022.

After the Registration, Ribbon Cutting of the Poster Exhibits, Singing of the National Anthem and short prayer to guide the activity, the welcome message will be delivered by Dr. Diana L Ignacio, the current Phil AAST President.

Department of Science and Technology Secretary Dr. Renato U. Solidum, Jr. Will deliver his keynote speech.

The association has several awardees who will be awarded by Dr. Reynaldo E. Dela Cruz, the PhilAAST Vice President in the following categories:

Dr. Gregorio Y Zara Awards for Basic Research; Dr. Gregorio Y Zara Awards for Applied Research; Dr. Paulo C Campos Awards for Health Research; David M Consunji Awards for Engineering Research; Dr. Ceferino L Follosco Award for Product and Process Innovation; Dr. Michael R I Pur is Award for Sustainable Research and Dr. Lourdes E Campos Awards for Public Health.

The synthesis of webinars for Health and Well being will be done by Dr. Eva Maria C. Cutiongco-Dela Paz; Energy will be done by Dr. Annabelle V. Briones; Sustainable Communities by Dr. Assuncion B Del Guzman; Water, Land and Soul Resources from Dr. Reynaldo V Ebora and Digital Revolution by Luningning Samarita-Domingo.
