IT is very unlikely to hear something scientific coming from the mouth of a Vice Presidential candidate especially if the latter is not one of the famous scientist or politicians aspiring to get back into the post.
This is true with a fellow media practitioner we get to interview recently running under the banner of the Philippine Green Republican Party by which he head as their President but is running for public office as the country’s Vice President.
Alexander Lague, a media practitioner, broadcaster and an officer of the Department of the Interior and Local Government Press Corps wanted to affect genuine change in the society so he decided to engage the chaotic world of politics.
In an interview with www.dzmjonline.net , Mr. Lague’s platform involves transfiguring odor into fragrance and harnessing excrements to generate power and rejuvenate the land.
He is entering politics not to be famous instead he wanted to become a catalyst in ending poverty and hunger in the country. Because the nation is still in the pandemic he says that the number one priority is livelihood to patch up for the hungry stomach of the people.
His options are to put up TOILETS and COMFORT ROOMS around the nation. According to the Department of Health, sanitation is one of the problems of the country since about 70% more or less households around the country has no TOILETS.
He says that the toilets that would be built will generate a million job opportunities. He explains how it can be a source of livelihood by utilizing the male urine as perfume and the female urine as liquid fertilizer and the manure of both male and female will be used as an organic fertilizer.
In this way he further says that the family will gain financial independence, there is an existing technology for it he stated. He says that he will not get a single cent to the government instead he as VP will get grants or loans to pursue such technological endeavors for the people.
Lastly he favor the revival of the Death Penalty to heinous crime. .///MJ olvina-Balaguer, +639053611058, maryjaneolvina@gmail.com and konekted@dzmjonline.net DZMJ ONLINE MAKABULUHANG JORNALISMO YOUR HAPPINESS CHANNEL

PFP BACKS BONGBONG AGAINST NUISANCE PETITION
Partido Federal ng Pilipinas on Friday called the petition seeking to cancel or deny the Certificate of Candidacy of its standard-bearer Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr., as nothing but a ‘nuisance’ case.
PFP General Counsel Atty. George Briones viewed the petition as a desperate move by some groups trying to derail Bongbong’s candidacy for president in next year’s elections.
Briones also referred to the petition as a mere “scrap of paper” since the petitioners failed to attach a certified true copy of a final judgment showing Marcos was guilty of a crime involving moral turpitude.
He added that before the Comelec allows the petition to proceed and ask the respondent [Marcos] to comment, the poll body should at least order the petitioners to provide an ‘actionable document’.
“Before the Comelec gives due course to the petition and requires the respondent to answer or comment to the petition, they must at the very least order the petitioners to attach a certified true copy of this final judgment to their petition. For how can the respondent intelligently answer the petition, if the judgment upon which his alleged ineligibility is based is not even attached to it?” Atty. Briones asked.
“Clearly, this petition is just a nuisance,” he added.
“Since the penalty or penalties you are looking for in the Decision of the Court of Appeals are not there, then Marcos, Jr. is eligible to be a candidate for President and did not commit a crime involving moral turpitude. That CA decision has long been final. It is now immutable and cannot be changed to favor this nuisance suit,” Atty. Briones explained.
Meanwhile, Marcos’s chief of staff, Atty. Vic Rodriguez, said the petition filed against BBM is just part of the dirty tactics being used by his opponents.
“Kitang-kita ng sambayanang Pilipino na patuloy ang pang-aapi ng iba’t-ibang grupong dilawan kay Presidential aspirant Bongbong Marcos,” Rodriguez said.
“Let’s not play along the propaganda line of the yellow-wannabe political assassins,” he said.

BBM asks BOC, DA: give seized foodstuff to Pinoys in need
Following the destruction of more than P300 million worth of vegetables and other agricultural products in Pampanga, Presidential aspirant Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., asked the Bureau of Customs (BOC) and the Department of Agriculture (DA) to look into the possibility of donating seized fruits and vegetables to communities in need once deemed safe to eat.
The Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) standard-bearer said food security is among the top concerns during this time of crisis. Due to the implementation of lockdowns last year, millions of Filipinos lost their jobs and despite lowering the alert levels, many still experience hunger.
“Kung idadaan sa tamang inspeksiyon at pasado ang kalidad ng mga nasabat na gulay at prutas, pag-aralan sana natin ang posibilidad na maibigay ito sa mga nangangailangang komunidad sa halip na itapon upang mapakinabangan naman ngayong pandemya,” Marcos said.
Data from Social Weather Stations (SWS) showed that for the second quarter of 2021, an estimated 3.4 million Filipino families have experienced hunger. Meanwhile, the Department of Science and Technology- Food and Nutrition Research Institute said a total of 1.7 metric tons of food are being wasted every day.
Marcos also encouraged the two agencies to intensify their fight against the illegal smuggling of fruits and vegetables in the country to protect the welfare of Filipino farmers.
