In this year’s celebration of the women’s month the PNP conducted their outreach program on an island barangay notwithstanding the current pandemic, for the women elements of the police they consider it as a challenge much less a way to reach out women in such far reaches living the new normal with face masks and face shields.
Backtracking the pages of the province’ history wherein the “Kababaihan ng Malolos” paved the way in pursuing the rights of women to get access to education particularly in the Spanish era where women are considered second class citizens and has less right than men.
With the lady Chief at the helm of the Malolos PNP, drastic changes in terms of addressing the peace and order, creative and benevolent approach in crime prevention and as female front liners in the dissemination of COVID 19 pandemic protocols in the city and with the law on Gender and Development (GAD) the nation now values the vital role a women in the society towards nation building and inclusive growth.
