INDEED the youth is the hope of our nation just like what Dr Jose Rizal says. It is maybe the youth carries with them fresh ideas and innovative techniques their elders didn’t thought about.

Same goes with this young leader we get to interview yesterday in Manila. Dolores Eastern Samar Municipal Councilor Joseph Ryan Albert Rivera is a visionary leader who wanted to advance the course of progress in his beloved municipality.

He heads the committee on tourism and as we all know, the tourism sector is the most affected sector in the COVID 19 pandemic, it has been hit hard and yet it still the only choice when it come to income generators that doesn’t harm the environment.

Though eastern Samar is popular with beaches and islands, councilor Rivera wanted to push for the exploration of their virgin island for environmental tourism and as tagged to be the rice granary of eastern Samar he also pushes for agriculture tourism.

Councilor rivera has a lot of plans and projects for the betterment of his constituents the very reason why he’s in Manila to attend seminars that trains and teaches leaders like him to be more of service to his people. /
