today, june 28, 2022, the Department of Social Welfare and Development and the National Authority for Child Care will be conducting the Ceremonial Signing of the Implementing Rules and Regulations of the Republic Act No. 11642 or the Domestic Administrative Adoption and Alternative Child Care Act of 2022.

Held at the Diamond Hotel in Manila the law aimed at easing up the process of adoption without the intervention of the courts.

Spearheaded by the DSWD headed by outgoing Sec. Rolando Bautista and USec. Glenda D. Relova the Executive Director of the National Authority for Child Care.

With the advent of indiscriminate and irresponsible neglect of the newborn especially in the NCR, the IRR is timely and very relevant.

The DSWD is the government department which is mandated to deliver social services and Adoption is one of them.
