Concrete Pouring Completed for Six Main Transformer Foundations at Taguig 500 kV Substation Project in the Philippines

On May 21st, the Taguig 500 kV Substation Project, constructed by China Energy Engineering Corporation, has completed the concrete pouring for the foundations of six main transformers in the Philippines. The entire process was carried out under strict quality control and safety management, ensuring the project’s high standards and quality.

The pile foundation construction commenced in March 2024, marking the official start of construction of the project. The static pressure piles technique was adopted in the pile foundation construction to ensure a noise-free, vibration-free, and pollution-free process, effectively guaranteeing the living environment of surrounding residents.

The Taguig 500 kV. Substation Project, scheduled to construct a 500 kV. substation in the Taguig area of the Philippines, has been listed as one of the key projects to be advanced by the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) in 2024. Once completed, the project will serve as a crucial load-centre substation for the Manila area, the capital of the Philippines.
