TESDA and Manila to renew ties to strengthen Tech Voc through MOA

City of Manila, the Philippines, May 28, 2021- AIMED at strengthening the Technical Vocational skills of Manila, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) headed by it’s Director General, secretary Isidro Lapena forged a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Mayor of the City of Manila, Hon. Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso.

At the Message of Mayor Domagoso, he stated the importance of TESDA in his plans for the city by which the projects will be utilizing a skilled and competent workforce that only TESDA’s training can provide.

Likewise, Sec. Isidro Lapena of TESDA thank the Mayor for including TESDA into the city’s plans through education and training of people, he also thanks the Unibersidad De Manila and the city’s Public Employment Service Office for their efforts.

in an interview with DZMJ Online TESDA’s Director General says that similar activities with other Local Government Units are in the pipeline and most are being executed. TESDA’s training centers are situated in various parts of the country.

meanwhile TESDA’s DDG says that in Bulacan, there are several training centers namely in the municipalities of Guiguinto and Calumpit to mention a few but across the country more or less there were 60 training centers.

lastly, skilled and competent personnel in the workplace is truly an asset to the nation aside from the Filipino’s ability to communicate well in the foreign language and when it comes to these attributes of the Filipino i quote an anonymous OFW working in the middle east saying “The Filipino Practically Created the Middle East” meaning our skills and talent is indeed remarkable.
