Whether it be Cattle Raising, Poultry or small ruminant (goat and sheep),livestock has always been an important part of Philippine agriculture and tomorrow, August 24, 2022 is the Opening Ceremony of Livestock Philippines 2022 which will be held at the World trade Center in Pasay City, this important event is being organized by Informa Markets.

Anticipated guests will be personalities from the Lower and Upper Houses of Congress and the executive branch, the agriculture department in particular.

The opening ceremonies will be held at 9AM followed by the Singing of the National Anthem and the Invocation and a welcome remark from the President and CEO of Informa Markets Asia Ms. Margaret Ma Connolly;

Followed by messages from Senator Cynthia A. Villar the Chairperson of the Senate Committee on Agriculture and Food of the 19th Congress, Senate of the Philippines also being invites is Congressman Wilfrido Mark Enverga the Chairman of House Committee on Agriculture and Food 19th Congress House of Representatives Philippines.

And the keynote address will be given by non other that the Secretary of the Department of Agriculture, His Excellency President Ferdinand Bongbong Romualdez Marcos Jr., the President of the Philippines.

Other activities will be the ribbon cutting, the launching of the Gawad Livestock and many others that will showcase the importance of the livestock industry as part of the booming Philippine Agriculture.
