Chicken, beef, or lamb maybe also be added to the dish, depending on personal preference. It is often shared with family and friends, reflecting the true spirit of Ramadan – the spirit of giving.

Now on its third year, the Embassy’s Bubur Lambuk program is part and parcel of the Embassy’s efforts to introduce Malaysian culture, customs and traditions to the Philippines. This year’s Bubur Lambuk was prepared by the Embassy’s Chef, Ammar Syafiq Ayob, together with the staff and spouses of the Embassy, at the Ambassador’s Official Residence. It was shared with President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., Cabinet Secretaries, Senior Government officials, members of the Diplomatic corps and friends of Malaysia.
