ONE of the basic needs of the community particularly in the rural areas of the country is medical service and since the government cannot accommodate all the needs of all its constituencies the private sector usually augment for its short comings whereby creating a harmonious relationship between the public and private sector.

In this regard the advocacy of the Lions Club Mindanao enter into the picture and recently last Saturday august 13 2022 they had conducted a medical mission and minor operation held at the barangay hall of Barangay Libertad, Butuan City, Agusan Del Norte.

Spearheaded by the Butuan Golden Hearts Lions President Lordgette Neis along with the Regional Chair Jojo Yee and Governor William Toh Albano, CabSec Amado Angeles, GST Johnny Te Unified Global Service Project District 301E with the help of their Honorary Member  H.E. Ambassador Gion Gounet.

Also present were Bgy. Capt. Menchie Rosario and Pres. Rosily Bernat. Aside from the usual things that they do in medical missions such as check-ups and distribution of vitamins to children this mission has included minor operation such as circumcision which is usually done in the health centers, clinics and hospitals either private or public.
