Damayang Filipino Movement Inc Distributed Hygiene Kits to ICCM members victimized by typhoon Carina in Bulacan

Malolos, BULACAN-Distributed on the places victimized by typhoon Carina are hygiene kits from the Damayang Filipino Movement Inc (DFMI) Party-list which was composed of  shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush, bath and laundry soap, towel, Mosquito nets, blankets and slippers just to name a few to Muslim residents of Malolos in the province of Bulacan submerged by the wrath of typhoon Carina.

An estimated 280 hygiene kits was distributed in cooperation with the Bulacan provincial Capitol’ Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) spearheaded by its chief Rowena Tiongson ang the Damayang Filipino Movement Inc ( DFMI) headed by Athenie Bautista on the members of the Islamic Council of the City of Malolos (ICCM(/ City of Malolos Muslim Consultative Council (CMMCC) headed by both Abdul Malik Bin Ismail the Vice Chairman and Maryam Jannah Binti Ismail the secretary.

Beneficiaries were the inundated residents from barangay San Vicente, Caingin etc wherein the concentration of Muslim Residents lived at and where the mosque is located, although the majority of the brethren were of Maranao origin and only a few were tagalogs, they consider Malolos as their 2nd home that is why most of them are already registered voters of the city.

Because of the humanitarian causes of DFMI quite recently Athenie R Bautista was enthroned by the Pangampon a Pilipinas of Sultan Bob Datimbang as Prinsesa ng Kawanggawa a title best fit for the current chair of DFMI Party-list.
