JUMONG, THE SON THAT WILL RAISE ANGAT

A public servant which is worth emulating is embodied in this genuine son of the town of Angat who also served at the town of Dona Remedios Trinidad by which he was loved and respected much like the Korean Telenovela character which was based on a historical figure.

From being elected as Barangay Chairman of Barangay Sapang Bulak of Dona Remedios Trinidad who went on becoming the Association of Barangay Chairman (ABC) of the same town which was equal to a Municipal Councilor, his humanitarian works also resonates in the town where he was born.

A native of Angat he has served at Dona Remedios Trinidad but stretched up his hands not only to the two towns he love but to the rest of the province especially those towns ravaged by natural calamities in urgent need of help.

Often seen helping out victims of flood and landslides from the flood prone municipalities of Bulacan to the landslide prone slopes in pursuit of saving lives and property.

Notwithstanding the threat of the COVID-19 pandemic, his urge to help people in life and death situation has persisted. This humanitarian attitude was noticed by the Brethren Evangelical School of Theology International particularly with the indigenous Dumagat.

In a decade span of genuine public service, Leobardo S. Piadozo or Jumong to his friends and people close to him, his attitude has paved the way for the same school to confer him with a Doctor of Philosophy in Public Administration ( Honoris  Causa ) Major in Good Governance and Public Service.

His exemplary leadership, worth emulating is a testament for generations much like the heroes who carved the rich history of the province, Jumong lives to be an example.///Mj Olvina- Balaguer, 09053611058,  konekted@dzmjonline.net and maryjane olvina@gmail.com DZMJ Online “Makabuluhang Jornalismo, Your Happiness Channel”
