With the theme: “Our Vote, Our Future: Multi-Sectoral Joint Press Conference” in which they discussed issues mainly on vote buying, also the negative consequences of such in the long term.

This May, national and Local elections, the convenor advocate and pushing for a Clean, Honest and fair elections. Voting for the leaders whom we think is the one who is right to lead us.

Our vote is sacred because it will dictate the outcome of our future in the coming years , the reason why in the press conference Bulakenyos are reminded of the adverse effects of vote buying and vote selling, and inculcate in the minds of the electorate the sanctity of the vote.

The convenor also reminded the Bulakenyo voting population not to exchange their vote either in cash or in kind for it is their constitutional right. Also, our vote is our hope for attaining an honest government and public servants that would serve the people and not make business out of them..
