New LTO Chief FACE OF BAGONG PILIPINAS takes the helm at region 3

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, PAMPANGA – July 16, 2026Stakeholders and residents across Central Luzon has expressed their warmest welcome and high hopes as PB Gen. Roderick D. Minong officially assumed his post as Regional Director of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) Region 3 last July 7, 2026.

A familiar face to many in the region, Minong brought with him extensive experience from previous assignments across Bulacan, making his appointment a well-received development among transport groups, local officials, and the public. Known for his approachable demeanor and people-first leadership, he has already earned the affectionate nickname “new ninong” among clients for his genuine warmth and easy rapport with ordinary citizens.

“We see Director Minong as the true face of Bagong Pilipinas – a public servant who serves with heart,” shared members of the media following an informal “firechat” with the new regional chief. “Watching him interact with LTO applicants and motorists, you immediately feel his goal: to make government service felt, accessible, and respectful for everyone.”
