CITY OF MALOLOS — September 8, 2026 — The streets of Malolos came alive today with vibrant colors, music, and artistry as the Singkaban Festival 2026 officially kicked off, bringing together communities from across Bulacan for a week-long celebration of culture, heritage, and unity.
Known as the “Mother of All Fiestas of Bulacan,” this year’s festival carries the meaningful theme “Kultura ng Integridad, Pamana ng Pagkakaisa” (Culture of Integrity, Heritage of Unity) — honoring the values passed down through generations and the shared legacy Bulakenyos continue to build for the future.
A Celebration Beyond Festivity — A Symbol of Resilience
For a province that has faced and overcome calamities, the festival holds deeper significance. Governor Daniel R. Fernando emphasized that gathering for the Singkaban is not about forgetting challenges, but about remembering what unites the people.

Opening Highlights & Grand Parade
Department of Education Secretary Juan Edgardo “Sonny” M. Angara graced the opening festivities, which featured the much-anticipated Parada ng Karosa and the 3rd Marching Band Competition. Participants paraded from the Malolos Sports and Convention Center to the Bulacan Capitol Compound, drawing crowds and showcasing the province’s vibrant creativity.
Tourism Fair Launched
The opening day also marked the launch of the Singkaban ng Bayan: Bulacan Travel and Tourism Fair, held at the Capitol Mini Forest. The fair will run from September 8 to 15, offering visitors a showcase of Bulacan’s top destinations, local products, and tourism offerings.
The Singkaban Festival runs until September 15, serving not only as a tribute to Bulacan’s rich history but also as a reaffirmation of the resilience, integrity, and unity of every Bulakenyo.
