The Islamic Republic of Iran held its National Day honoring the triumph of the Islamic Revolution. Attended by members of the Diplomatic Corps and like minded guests as well as brethren in Islam who felt akin to the advocacy of liberty, peace, tolerance and inclusivity.
Attendees are not entirely Muslim yet those who has been there really felt what its like being in the fold of Islam. Envoy from South Africa, Palestine, Kuwait, Qatar, the Vatican and our own Department of Foreign Affairs were present.
A few members of the media including Diaryong Tagalog and this publication (DZMJ Online) were also present being invited by the embassy to cover such an important event in the history of the Islamic Republic.
The atmosphere was private and we have notice that not many members of the media were invited and some are outside the venue, the visitors come and go and on His Excellency Yousef Esmaeil Zadeh he emphasize the importance of cooperation, peaceful coexistence and the common good.
