2nd Lady Chair of the Language Commission pride of empowered women

Manila, Philippine- the recently appointed Chairperson of the Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino is the 2nd lady Chair appointed to the said post by the President of the Republic of the Philippines.

In an interview, she gave a detailed roadmap on what her leadership aimed to achieve and continue the programs of the commission that are vital to the advancement of the national language and the pursuit making the the use of the regional and local language useful for it to thrive side by side with each other.

Atty. Marites Barrios- Taran, the fulltime Commissioner for the Tagalog Language, the former Director General now the current Chairperson hope and pray that with her at the helm of the KWF reforms will be instituted to intellectualize the use of the National Language, upgrade the Philippine Sign Language, thanslate the Philippine jurisprudence in Filipino and so on.
