The Philippine flag is a symbol of the nations unity and cohesiveness that is why in the home of the country’s heroes, the Province of Bulacan, the provincial Government headed by the Governor Daniel R. Fernando spearheaded the nations commemoration of the National Flag day as the 2026 Independence day fast approaches.

The entire nation, not just Bulacan annual remembrance to this occasion reminds the people of the importance of national symbols in nation building and the sacrifices of ancestors in defending the country from external forces and the colonial powers.
