Malolos City Expands Door-to-Door Monthly Aid for Vulnerable Residents

CITY OF MALOLOS, Bulacan — Reaffirming his administration’s commitment to inclusive and compassionate governance, Mayor Christian D. Natividad has reiterated the city’s door-to-door monthly financial and medical support program reaching out to dialysis patients, chemotherapy and cancer patients, senior citizens, and children with speech impairments and other Persons with Disabilities (PWDs).

The program brings assistance directly to the homes of those most in need — ensuring that no resident is left behind simply because they cannot travel to government offices.

“Healthcare should not be a privilege reserved for those who can afford it or those who can come to City Hall,” Mayor Natividad stated.

“For our brothers and sisters undergoing dialysis, chemotherapy, or battling cancer — every trip is difficult. For our seniors and children with special needs — we must go to them.

That is the true meaning of public service.” Who Benefits from the Program: – Dialysis patients — monthly financial aid, medicine support, and transport assistance complementing the Malolos Hemodialysis Center launched September 2025- Chemotherapy & cancer patients — regular stipends to cover medication, nutrition, and related expenses-

Senior citizens — social pension, medical check-ups, and food packs delivered to their homes- Children with speech impairment & communication disorders — therapy referrals, specialized learning support, and inclusive development programs-

All registered PWDs — including the 500 indigent PWDs already receiving local social pension under the CSWDO initiative How the Door-to-Door System Works: – Teams from the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), City Health Office, and barangay officials conduct scheduled home visits-

Financial assistance is released monthly — not one-time — providing consistent support for long-term treatment- Needs are assessed on-site; medical certificates and social case studies are processed directly at the beneficiary’s home-

Special attention is given to families with limited income, ensuring aid reaches those most vulnerable Official Statement from Mayor Natividad: “We will not wait for our people to come to us — we will go to them. Whether undergoing thrice-weekly dialysis or long-term cancer treatment, mobility should never be a barrier to survival.

For our children with speech and communication challenges, early intervention is critical. For our seniors who have built this city — they deserve dignity in their twilight years. This program is not just about giving aid; it is about walking with them, hand in hand, until they recover.”

The program aligns with the city’s broader health initiatives — including the Malolos Hemodialysis Center, patient transport vehicles, and ongoing medical missions — all designed to make healthcare accessible and free for indigent residents.

How to Avail: Residents may contact the CSWDO at the Malolos City Hall or through their respective Barangay Social Welfare Worker. Home visits are scheduled by appointment; new beneficiaries are encouraged to register early.
