IDCPI meet ICCM for HALAL

THE ISLAMIC Council of the City of Malolos (ICCM) headed by its Co-Chairman Michael Balaguer with their Secretary General Mary Jane Olvina-Balaguer visited the office of Atty. Abdul Rahman Linsag, the President and Chief Executive Officer of the country’s premier Halal certifying body the Islamic Dahwah Council of the Philippines Inc. (IDCPI) to forget collaboration in the Halal market here in the Philippines.

It has always been the mandate of the City of Malolos Muslim Consultative Council (CMMCC) to establish alliances among Muslim brethren inside and outside Malolos in specific fields that need Halal accreditation.

The CMMCC is the result of the executive order given by Malolos City Mayor Atty. Christian Natividad through the first Muslim Civil Society Organization in Bulacan, the Islamic Council of the City of Malolos (ICCM) headed by its Chairman Hadji Yahya Gamor.

In the Muslim culture regardless of tribes and nations, Halal is a must and is a way of life, having to be free from Haram (swine DNA) from the surface of the product down to the molecular level is more or less the “be all and end all” of Halal in which all Muslim must abide.

In this age of Artificial Intelligence, internet of things and machine learning it’s equally important for the believers in the true religion of Islam to abide by all the rules of the Almighty.

Atty. Linsag says that the IDCPI is thankful that muslim organizations express their interest in Halal and reiterated that they are open for collaborations.
