3D PRINTED CONCRETE STRUCTURES POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS TO CURRENT CLASSROOM BACKLOG

Muntinlupa, PHILIPPINES- The science community has come up with an in genius strategy to solve the current backlog on classrooms since students flock to campuses this school year 2025-2026 and its very much congested.

In the recent M&E (Metals and Engineering) Industry Forum 2025 held on this city at the Acacia Hotel, the Metals Industry Research and Development Center of the Department of Science and Technology had a house made from 3D printed concrete.

In a question posed by this portals representative to MIRDC Executive Director Robert O Dizon he answered the query on the possibility of it being the solution to the education department backlog on classrooms since they have shortage of classrooms over the influx of students this school year.
