PCSO’s ChariTIMBA Reaches Over 500 Malolos Tricycle Drivers, Operators

MALOLOS CITY, Bulacan — More than 500 members of the Tricycle Operators and Drivers Association (TODA) in Malolos City received food assistance packages through the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO)’s ChariTIMBA Program, during a distribution activity held at The Pavilion, Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention Center this October 7, 2026.

The distribution was led by PCSO Director Imelda Papin and Director Janet Mercado, representing the agency in its ongoing effort to deliver direct, meaningful assistance to communities and sectors in need.

DFMI Chair Athenie Fernando Ramirez Bautista expressed deep gratitude to PCSO for its continued concern and support for the people of Bulacan. “We are grateful to have joined in distributing ChariTIMBA through our friends at PCSO, and through the office of Malolos City Vice Mayor Gilbert ‘Bebong’ Gatchalian — bringing much-needed help to our beneficiaries. This is proof that when different government agencies work together in unity, we can reach and assist even more families,” she said.

Governor Daniel R. Fernando was represented by Erickson Eleria, also attended the event and delivered an encouraging message to the beneficiaries. Also present was Athenie Fernando Ramirez-Bautista, younger sister of the Governor and Chairperson of the Damayang Filipino Movement Inc. (DFMI), who gave a message of support and assisted in handing out the ChariTIMBA packages.

The ChariTIMBA Food Assistance Program is a PCSO initiative designed to provide practical aid to communities and promote the welfare and well-being of Filipinos — especially those belonging to vulnerable and underserved sectors. Through the coordinated effort of government agencies and local leaders, vital assistance continues to reach workers and sectors that form the backbone of our communities.
