PASAY CITY –  Very Dynamic Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Secretary Amenah F. Pangandaman delivered her welcome address for the 7th National Halal Conference held on November 14, 2024, at the World Trade Center.

Being the first Muslim Filipina Budget Chief Pangandaman encouraged everyone to work together and support initiatives such as the Halal Conference, which not only uplifts communities but also creates opportunities for local entrepreneurs not just for muslim sector.

“Investing in the Halal industry is investing in the future of our economy—an economy that is resilient, diverse, and sustainable,” Sec. Mina stressed. 

The Ambassador of Thailand to the Philippines, His Excellency Tull Traisorat, as well as Malaysian Trade Attaché  Intan Zalani, Membes of the Diplomatic Corps, DOST Region 11 Director Dr Anthony Sales was also present during the event. Reference from DBM Facebook .
