The Presidential Communications Office (PCO), in cooperation with the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity (OPAPRU), holds a press conference as the Philippines concludes its hosting of the International Conference on Women, Peace and Security at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) in Pasay City on October 30, 2024.

Centered on the theme, ‘Forging Collaboration and Convergence for Advancing Women, Peace and Security (WPS),’ the Conference provides a crucial platform for participants to assess progress on the WPS agenda and address current challenges to women’s significant participation in peace and security.
