in the recent commemoration of the 125 anniversary of the first Philippine Republic, City of Malolos Mayor Atty. Christian Dionisio Natividad says that the most important lesson is freedom.

since ours is considered to be the first republic in Asia, Filipinos gained freedom from foreign colonizers ahead of our ASEAN brethren.

but the dilemma is that the way how we use the freedom that we have. Most of us don’t know’ how to use it to the point that it has been abused.

as told by the Malolos Mayor in an interview with DZMJ Online it is important for us to remember the lessons of the past because it will become the guiding light that best inspire the good in all of us.
