The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), through its Field Office -9 (Zamboanga Peninsula) distributes rice to residents of Lamitan City, Basilan on Monday (October 23).

Witnessing the rice distribution are Basilan Governor Jim Hataman, Lamitan City Mayor Roderick Furigay, Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer Anwary Akalun and DSWD Field Office-9 (Zamboanga Peninsula) representative, Ma. Corazon Sumicad.
