
LAUNCHING OF THE PHILIPPINE EASE OF DOING BUSINESS REFORM GUIDEBOOK AND AWARDING OF EODB PARTNERS
The Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA), in collaboration with the World Bank Group, officially launched the Philippine Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Reform Guidebook on 22 May 2025 at Manila Hotel. This initiative is part of the government’s broader efforts under Republic Act No. 11032 or the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Law to institutionalize regulatory reforms, streamline government processes, and improve the country’s global competitiveness.

The EODB Reform Guidebook outlines key reform priorities and implementation strategies aimed at enhancing the business climate and improving the Philippines’ standing in global competitiveness indices—particularly the World Bank’s Business-Ready (B-READY) Report and the Philippine Global Competitiveness Report Card, jointly developed by ARTA, AIM-RSNPCC, and DTI.
Highlighted the event is the Awarding Ceremony for EODB Partners, which recognizes the invaluable contributions of public and private sector stakeholders in driving business-friendly reforms and fostering regulatory efficiency. This celebration underscores the whole-of-government and whole-of-society approach in making the Philippines more On the business-ready and globally competitive.
