SOME people are always traveling and so a program of the Commission on Elections is best suited for those that fail to register because we’re working.
IN PHOTOS: Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Secretary Amenah F. Pangandaman expressed support for the Commission on Elections’ (COMELEC) Special Register Anywhere Program (SRAP), underscoring its impact on national development and the improvement of the lives of Filipinos, during the opening of the SRAP site at the DBM Boncodin Hall today, August 7, 2025.
“Ang bawat isa na magpaparehistro ngayon ay hindi lang naghahandang bumoto kundi aktibo ring nakikilahok sa pagbuo ng isang magandang bukas para sa ating Bagong Pilipinas,” the Budget Chief emphasized.
Meanwhile, COMELEC Chairperson George Erwin M. Garcia shared that the SRAP, a multi-awarded project that ensures an easier and more convenient voter registration, was able to register 1.1 million Filipinos in just five days—a historic milestone strengthening democracy in the country.
COMELEC Commissioner Ernesto Ferdinand P. Maceda Jr., DBM Undersecretaries Margaux V. Salcedo, Wilford Will L. Wong, and Rolando U. Toledo, and Assistant Secretaries Leonido J. Pulido III and Mary Anne Z. Dela Vega, were also present at the event, together with other DBM and COMELEC officials.
