MANILA, PHILIPPINES -THE Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino has a new Chairperson, replacing former Chair Arthur Casanova quite recently appointed by President Ferdinand Bongbong Romualdez Marcos JR.

The current Chair is now a newly in the commission not an outsider instead she represents the Tagalog and she’s was the former Director General. The newly appointed Chairperson was a long time championing the advancement and intellectualization of the National Language, she is Atty Marites A Barrios- Taran, a full time commissioner of KWF.

she is expected to effect a lot of changes in the commission in terms of policies and programs for the greater advancement of languages in the country.

As commissioner, stakeholders of the commission expect a much effective and inclusive programs and projects of the commission.
