PCIM 2024; The future is Creative

MANILA CITY- With this second year Philippine Creative Industries Development Council (PCIDC) theme “#WeAreACreativeNation,” the Department of Trade and Industry, spearheaded by Secretary Cristina A. Roque alongside with other government officials and stakeholders, celebrated the Filipino creative spirit during the media launched last 23 August 2024 of Philippine Creative Industries Month (PCIM) 2024 at The Manila Hotel .

Reflecting President Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr. ‘s Bagong Pilipinas vision, the DTI is committed to cultivating a nation where creativity and innovation drive economic progress.

The event marked the beginning of a month-long celebration set for September, as mandated by Philippine Creative Industries Development Act (PCIDA), serves to promote the goods, products and services of the Philippine Creative Industries, and to raise awareness of their vital role in nation building and socio economic advancement.
